What is the WCAG WG attempting to test?
The WCAG WG published Requirements for WCAG 2.0 to outline the goals for WCAG 2.0. To advance through the W3C Recommendation Track we need to demonstrate that we have met our goals: • WCAG 2.0 can be applied to a variety of technologies such as XHTML, CSS, and SMIL • the conformance requirements are clear and understandable, • the suite of WCAG 2.0 documents are easy to use, • a diverse audience can understand and use WCAG 2.0, • WCAG 2.0 can be applied to a variety of types of Web content such as e-commerce sites, news sites, and web applications, • WCAG 2.0 can be applied to a variety of languages such as Japanese, Hebrew, and French.
