What is the warranty on S&W knives?
Limited Lifetime Warranty: The product is warranted to the original consumer purchaser, for as long as he or she lives, against defects in materials, manufacture of assembly. Damage due to abuse, misuse or neglect is not covered. Defective products will be repaired or replaced. Discontinued items that are not repairable will be exchanged for items of equal value. In order to get service under this warranty, send the product prepaid, together with an explanation of the defect to the address listed below. Please add $6.95 for return freight. It is recommended that you insure the defective products to be returned. Smith & Wesson Knives will not be responsible for any damages for loss or use of defective products or for other consequential or incidental damages.
