What is the WAP Deposit Service? How is it different from the XMOne Application?
The WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) Deposit Service allows you to make deposits to your OneCard Convenience account through your cell phone’s web browser. Although both WAP Deposit and XMOne are used from your cell phone, WAP Deposit lacks many of the functions and convenience features that XMOne has. For example, XMOne allows you to check your balance and stores your credit card information (so you don’t have to type it in every time) while WAP Deposit has neither of these features. It is recommended that you use XMOne if your phone and mobile carrier support XMOne; the WAP Deposit service is intended to serve as a fall-back method in case your phone does not support XMOne. To access the WAP Deposit Service, point your cell phone browser to http://xmone.mylaurier.ca and choose the “WAP Deposit” option.
