The Walter-Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) is located at the Forest Glenn annex of the Walter-Reed Army Medical center (WRAMC) at Silver Spring Maryland. The WRAIR is the largest military medical research facility in the Department of Defense’s arsenal. Its mission is to conduct medical research that is responsive to DOD and U.S. Army requirements.
