WHAT IS THE WALT DISNEY STUDIOS MOTION PICTURES NETWORK?
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures distributes all Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone Pictures and Hollywood Pictures to theatres all across the U.S. and Canada. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Network is made up of independent contractors retained by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures to gather information used in the marketing and distribution of major motion pictures to theatres respectively in the U.S. and Canada. Networkers visit movie theatres in their local metropolitan area to view trailers (“coming attractions”), attend sneak previews, film openings and check the display of in-theatre marketing materials. Networkers then log on to Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Network’s website to submit their information before the designated due date. Networkers are generally assigned 3 to 4 weekends per month.
