The “Walk Zone” is actually the “Non Transportation Zone”. The school board policy states that students grades 1-5 living 1 mile or greater from their school are eligible for transportation. KG students living 1 half mile or greater from their school are eligible for transportation. Students living in the “Non Transportation Zone” are not required to walk to school, they are just not eligible for yellow bus service.
