What is the waiver of life insurance premiums?

0

This optional waiver lets you take a break from paying premiums upon total disability of more than six months before your 65th birthday. In addition, the premiums of those first six months will then be reimbursed to you. This waiver has a special definition with Sogedent Assurances. In fact, it applies if an incapacity resulting from an illness or accident prevents you from performing the main tasks of your usual professional functions. You will then be entitled to a waiver of premium until the end of total disability or until you are 80, the age at which coverage ceases. To our knowledge, no other life insurance plan in Canada includes this waiver for a period greater than two years, if the status of the insured after these two years allows them to perform any other task for which they are trained.
