The Wage Earner Protection Program (WEPP) is a new Government of Canada program that provides timely payment of unpaid wages and vacation pay for eligible workers who have lost their job because their employer declared bankruptcy or became subject to a receivership. The WEPP does not cover termination and severance pay, or other employee benefits.
