What is the VTrckS password reset period and who will users need to contact?
CDCs Secure Access Management Services (SAMS) system is the user authentication system that will control grantee and provider access to VTrckS. In accordance with CDC security policies, a mandatory password change will be required every 60 days. At the 60 day mark, the user will be prompted upon login to change their password. If, for example, they only use VTrckS once every 90 days, the user will be prompted to change their password each time they log on. The user may also change their password within the SAMS console more frequently, if necessary. CDCs Vaccine Order Management Contact Center will be available to guide users through the SAMS reset screens if support is needed.
