What is the voting process for the Public Voting Meeting?
A. Procedures for Homeowners: • You may come anytime between 2pm and 5pm to vote. Please don’t all arrive at 2pm unless you enjoy waiting. Each household/property receives one vote, so only one adult needs to be present. • Find your homeowners group stationed around the Fellowship Hall. • Your homeowners’ representative will locate your Letter of Intent (LOI) in their 3 ring binder. • Please show your driver’s license or a utility bill that lists your address. • On the bottom right corner of your LOI, sign your name for verification that you are casting a vote for your property. • Receive a ballot from your representative, and write either “yes” or “no” on the ballot to accept or reject the gas company contract we are recommending for NETGLO. • Drop your ballot in the ballot box and you are free to leave. • Results will be posted on the NETGLO website (http://www.netglo.org/) that evening as soon as they are tallied.
