What is the volume of natural gas reserves in the U.S. and worldwide?
As of December 31, 2009, the United States had about 272.5 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of proved, dry natural gas reserves and 283.9 Tcf of wet gas reserves. Proved world reserves are about 6,609 Tcf. These estimates were published on November 30, 2010. Estimates for world proved reserves of dry natural gas, published in early 2010, were about 6,609 Tcf.
