VITA stands for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Loyola offers participation in this course each spring for upper division students only. Students attend tax preparation training courses complete appropriate certification, and provide 25 hours of tax preparation services at established Loyola tax preparation sites between February and April 15.
