What is the visitation schedule for inmates at the D.C. Jail?

0

The D.C. Department of Corrections encourages inmates to maintain family and community ties by allowing visits. Inmates are allowed two (2) thirty-minute social visits per week. The visitation schedule for all inmates is based on the first letter of the last name: • Letters A-H (Tuesday and Thursday); Letters I-P (Wednesday and Friday); Letters Q-S (Monday and Wednesday); Letters T-Z (Monday and Friday). Beginning on Monday, May 23, 2011, visitation hours for both the general and special population units will be from 12 noon to 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Those individuals visiting inmates housed in the special population units will continue to make appointments by contacting Visiting Control on 202-673-8153 or 8154.
