Vision 3D offers the industry’s first fully automatic implantable defibrillators with Complete Capture Management®, which provides confidence in patients’ safety by continuously and automatically adjusting to changing patient needs. Complete automaticity provides physicians flexibility during in‐office device checks and may also reduce battery drain. Featuring Medtronic’s proprietary Conexus® Wireless Telemetry and OptiVol® Fluid Status Monitoring, the Medtronic Consulta™ CRT‐D was approved by the FDA in April 2008. With Conexus Wireless Telemetry, devices such as the Consulta and Concerto® CRT‐Ds automatically and wirelessly transmit information through a home monitor from a patient’s device to a secure Web site in the physician’s office though the Medtronic CareLink® Network.
