What is the Virginia Renaissance Faire?
• The Virginia Renaissance Faire is an historically based faire drawing its characters and plots from Elizabethan England. To maintain this historical integrity, we ask that artists who wish to perform on our stages present music, masques, literary works or other forms of entertainment such as puppetry, story telling, juggling, magic or dance from that time period. The Virginia Renaissance Faire is a production of Out of the Woodwork Productions (OOTW), a 501(c)3 Educational Entertainment Non-profit Corporation. Where is the Virginia Renaissance Faire & what are the performance dates? • The Faire will run weekends rain or shine from May 16, 2009 through June 14, 2009 at the Lake Anna Winery in Spotsylvania County Virginia. Who can be a Guest Performer? • Students and community groups may participate as Guest Performers.
