Virginia Mason Institute (VMI), is a separate non-profit corporation with the mission of providing education and training in the Virginia Mason Production System management method and furthering development of the Center for Health Care Solutions. VMI has been created in response to an overwhelming number of requests for Virginia Mason staff to share their experience and knowledge in applying lean principles to health care.
