What is the Villages Ordinance on junk cars?
Virginia Gardens Code, Sec. 9-46 states that it shall be unlawful for any person to keep or permit the keeping of a motor vehicle which is not in operable condition, on a property in the Village, which is zoned for residential, multi-family or commercial uses. For the purposes of this section, a motor vehicle shall be deemed not to be in operative condition if, among other things, it is not equipped with headlights or tires, if its engine cannot be started or if there is not a current license plate affixed, issued by the state and such conditions have existed for a period of seven days.
