What is the Venturing “Spruce Green” uniform?
At times you may see a Venturer wearing a dark green, button up shirt as a uniform. The BSA “spruce” green Venturing shirt is available for wear by Venturers and adult leaders. It can be purchased from the NE Iowa Scout Service Center. The “recommended” Venturing uniform standards were established to provide a common uniforming standard for Venturers at larger events or for Regional or National Officers. • The green Venturing short-sleeve shirt with green shoulder loops (or silver or yellow depending on position). • Charcoal gray shorts or long pants are the recommended (not required) field uniform for Venturers. • Insignia placement policies are the same as for the BSA uniform.
