The “one way valve” is widely used on whole bean coffee bags, and we have incorporated this feature on to most of our cans. The valve allows carbon dioxide gas to escape from the coffee, but does not permit oxygen to enter the can. This permits us to pack the coffee “hot”, right from the roaster, giving you the freshest, best tasting coffee available.
