What is the value of a letter of intent?
As a general principle, EUROCONTROL does not send letters of intent. Exceptionally, they can be sent out, when all internal approvals have been obtained, where the formal paperwork might take more time than usual and this delay could endanger the timely implementation of the project to which it relates. Nevertheless, EUROCONTROL will not be committed on the basis of such a letter of intent alone, but only on the written and formal signed contract.
