Children who do not qualify for free transport because they live too close to the school/college or because they are not attending their nearest appropriate school may occasionally be offered a vacant seat on a hired school/college vehicle. Powys County Council does not guarantee that this will be the least cost form of travel; and there may be local arrangements which could be less expensive.
