What is the usual schedule for a week?
Monday: Hard Day, perhaps a Fartlek (see “Fartlek” in the Lexicon below) Tuesday: Distance Day, usually we go on a long run around the neighborhoods, along a pre-determined route. Wednesday: Interval day, usually we either do a track workout or go to Highland Village to run hills. Thursday: Another distance day Friday: Recovery, this is usually an easy run around neighborhoods, and usually ends at smoothie factory (see “Smoothie Run” in the Lexicon.) Saturday: Meet day Sunday: Long, easy run on your own or with a few team mates. Not too hard, but enough to get a workout. That seems like a lot… Relax. We won’t throw you in without training you first. We’ll gradually work you into running more and more, and this won’t seem like anything after a while. Are there showers available to use?
