There is no standard sanction. Normally the Board issues a sanction that affects the grade of the assignment in question or the course grade. In addition, students found in violation of the code will not be allowed to drop or change the grading option for the course in question. In the case of a very serious or repeated offense the Board may decide that the student will be suspended or permanently separated from the college (expelled).
