What is the usual method of treatment for apraxia?
It is possible to speak only generally about effective therapy practices. Unfortunately, research into effective methods for providing treatment to children with apraxia is limited. However, in the professional literature various techniques described, including PROMPT method, Integral Stimulation, Adapted Cueing, Touch Cue, Melodic Intonation Therapy, Rate Control Therapy, etc. Although these therapeutic approaches differ somewhat, they do have common features.
