What is the “Username” field under my account for? How is it different from the first and last name fields?
Although we encourage users to use their real names, this occasionally presents an identity problem on the site since many people have the same name. The username field is a unique screen name that you can choose. Once you set it, you will always appear under that name, and no one else will be able to use the same name.
