What is the USA PATRIOT Act?
The USA PATRIOT Act is a Federal law that requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. You will be asked to provide your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. You may also be asked to provide documentation as proof of identification. “100% Approval” and “No one is Turned Down” is contingent up on successfully passing this mandatory identification conformation.
The USA Patriot Act is a law signed by President Bush, after the September 11, 2001 tragedy. The full name of the act is the Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001. The law makes it unlawful for restricted individuals to work with certain biological agents, toxins or delivery systems.
