The US regulations around the importation of prescription drugs is in a mess and very unclear. However U.S. government officials have stated that individuals who order prescription drugs from Canada or other foreign sources for their own personal use and in no more than 90 day quantitiies will not be pursued or prosecuted. The FDA have a Regulatory Procedures Manual (March 2007) that outlines their policy.
