What is the URL of a file/folder in resources?
It’s possible to use a special URL in order to link/refer to specific files and folders in the Resources tool (this is not the URL of the resources tool itself, which is displayed in the browser address bar). Typically the access URL will display a page listing folders and files without the surrounding Sakai navigation. The access URL can be obtained via the Edit Details option corresponding to the file/folder of interest. To copy the URL do not select the displayed URL with the mouse and copy – this will not always work due to the way HTML compresses consecutive spaces, instead place the mouse over the URL and right button click then select ‘Copy Link Location’ or ‘Copy Shortcut’ from the pop-up menu; this will then allow you to paste the correct URL from your clipboard.
