What is the University of Sydney IEEE Student Branch ?
The IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is the world’s largest technical professional society, and is devoted to advancing the theory and application of electrical engineering, electronics and computing. We act on behalf of the IEEE to cater specifically for the student members currently at the University of Sydney. This means we provide a communication channel between members and the main organisation in the US, and we provide IEEE services to student members (both undergraduate and postgraduate).
