What is the University of Saskatchewan Alumni Association?

0

The Alumni Association is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization which works in partnership with the University Advancement Office at the University of Saskatchewan to continue to strengthen the bond between the alumni and the University. The Alumni Association has a long and distinguished history and is indebted to the many alumni who have served. The U of S offered its first class to a group of 70 students in Saskatoon in late September 1909. Three years later 8 eight people were awarded their degrees at the first Convocation. The Alumni Association was established in 1917. Since then over 107,000 alumni have graduated and live worldwide. Our colleagues have gone on to be Rhodes scholars, Nobel prize winners, prime ministers and premiers, CEOs, entrepreneurs, scholars, researchers, sports celebrities, to name only a few accomplishments. Each year approximately 3,500 new graduates join our alumni family.
