What is the United States Practical Shooting Association/IPSC?
The U.S. Practical Shooting Association/IPSC is the individual practical shooters organization that promotes the sport of practical shooting in the United States. All active practical shooters can join USPSA/IPSC, which in turn makes them members of the International Practical Shooting Confederation, the worldwide organization promoting practical pistol shooting. USPSA conducts the Open and Limited National Championships each year and sends USA shooting teams to the IPSC World Shoot every three years. What is practical pistol shooting?
