What is the unique wheat gluten free binding system that we use? Is it proprietary?
Most chunk and gravy diets are made using wheat gluten, animal plasma, or textured vegetable protein (TVP). It was important to us to formulate a chunk that met our wholesome standards, and egg whites, a protein-rich food, fit perfectly with our goal. We combine egg whites with a fiber source (oat fiber or pea fiber) to hold the meat together and make a tender chunk that is satisfying to your dog. While we are only now introducing a wholesome chunk alternative to the standard recipes, this is a concept that we have pioneered and have been striving to perfect for nearly five years.
