What is the Unifying Theme?
When UCF asked students what they care about, undergraduates responded with a clear, unified voice: the Environment and Global Climate Change. UCF undergraduates are passionate about creating a just and sustainable future. This passion has become the driving force behind the University of Central Florida’s Unifying Theme. The General Education Program (GEP) at UCF expands and enhances a broad range of academic skills to develop confident, prepared students who present a well-reasoned voice in our global community. The Unifying Theme was created to focus discussion and reflection across the General Education Program. This initiative encompasses a variety of intellectual experiences and conversations as well as curricular and extracurricular activities.
