What is the unforgivable sin?
The unforgivable sin is also referred to as the unpardonable sin and the sin unto death. The unforgivable sin is to turn one’s back on Jesus Christ by a believer with a knowledge of the truth about Jesus Christ. The unforgivable sin can only be committed by a believer who has knowledge of the truth about Jesus Christ, but he turns away from the faith anyway. This person will receive a severe judgment at the Judgment Seat of Christ with the loss of his soul. He is still saved spiritually and he goes to heaven, but he loses his reward in the kingdom of heaven. This sin is unforgivable in the sense that the loss of reward is certain without any recourse.
