What is the typical range between an RF-enabled TempTale and Receiver/Repeater?
The range is 300+ feet “line of sight.” Actual range will depend on the environment in which the system is deployed. Before equipment is installed, a site survey will be performed to ensure optimal coverage. Although the environment will dictate actual performance, the system was designed to allow a tag in a 56-foot trailer filled with high water content, such as produce, meat and aqua-based pharmaceuticals. With the proper layout of the RF Mesh Network, we expect to download devices from an open trailer 30 feet away.
