What is the typical implementation timeline and plan?
CDA districts go through seven steps in implementation. • Letter of Intent- The district sends a letter of intent to AIU3. • Contract-AIU3 generates a contract and submits it to the district, who returns it signed along with the deposit. • Customization-The supporting IU and the district have a face-to-face meeting(s) to design the database. • Data Dictionary-The supporting IU develops the data dictionary, or listing of fields and tables. • Data Import-The district sends data files to AIU3 who in turn imports data into the district database, starting with student demographic data. • Operational-AIU3 provides the district one user account for the district’s user administrator(s). User manuals and on-site, hands-on training are also provided by the supporting IU and AIU3. • Ongoing Support-The district receives ongoing support and training, data importing, etc. The average time to become operational is approximately four (4) to six (6) months; however, the length of time necessary to com
