What is the twig game?
The twig game may only be played on Cobalmas, and then it is mandatory. All participants must each find a decent stick. The rest is made up as the game progresses. Typically, it is played until all involved start screaming at you “put that damn stick down or I’ll shove it up your …,” at which point all scoring stops and the penalty phase begins. Traditionally, the winner from one year gets to go first the next year. In cases of a tie, a special twig-off should be scheduled several weeks before the next Cobalmas, but then cancelled.
