What is the Tuition for CLAS Online Programs?
Obtain information about UIS tuition and fee rates for the 2003 – 2004 academic year at the UIS website http://www.uis.edu/registration. Note that tuition and fees are accurately listed, but are subject to change without advance notice. Regular tuition and fees are assessed for courses taken under the audit grading option. UIS has implemented a special tuition rate that applies only to online courses. This rate is termed “electronic tuition,” or simply “e-tuition.” E-tuition is applied as follows: 1. All Illinois residents automatically qualify for the e-tuition rate. 2. An individual who is not a resident of Illinois, but who has applied and been admitted to an online degree program at UIS and who only takes online classes at UIS in a given semester, qualifies for the e-tuition rate. Non-residents of Illinois who do not meet the criteria identified in #2 above are charged out-of-state tuition rates when they enroll in online courses.
