What is the troop Discipline Policy?

0

Our troop has adapted a discipline plan for scouts who show disruptive behavior during troop functions. After the first incident, the scout will receive a warning from the Scoutmaster or an Assistant Scoutmaster. This discussion will include Scout Spirit and Scout Expectations. If the behavior continues, and a second incident occurs (or its the first but is of a more serious nature), the Committee Chairman and the Unit Commissioner will meet with the scouts parents and the Scout (this meeting could also include the SPL and/or the Scoutmaster) about the attitude and/or behaviors exhibited. At this point, the parent/guardian will be required to attend the next two like functions with their Scout (Troop Meeting, Campout, etc.). In the event the disruptive pattern continues and we have a third incident, the Scout may be suspended from Scout activities and advancements for a period of three months. On the fourth and final violation, the Scout will be dismissed from Troop 442.
