What is the treatment for gingivitis?
I have posted this before, but here it is again: After my last cleaning, they said I had a mild case of gingivitis. Here is what they told me to do: 1. Brush morning and night. Night is the most important. Don’t brush in straight lines. Use circular rotatiosn, and don’t use too much pressure. On the back of my very front teeth, I was told to take my brush and pull it forward to clean those teeth and to prevent gum recession. 2. Floss properly. To floss you make a “C” shape against the tooth, and run the floss up as far as it will go, which actually goes to the top of the tooth and under the gums, the go down, and then up and down again, then do on the other tooth in that area. If you are not going all the way up, there is no point to flossing at all, but it does help prevent gingivitis and cavities. You may bleed at first, but that is not bad. You are bleeding because you have signs of gingivitis, but healthy gums won’t bleed while flossing. I was told that bleeding wasn’t bad and to k
