The Travel Assurance Fund is a fund on which BC consumers may file claims for compensation when they do not receive travel services for which they have paid a travel agent or travel wholesaler who is licensed in BC. The Travel Assurance Fund (TAF) is funded by contributions from these licensed businesses. As of 2004, the TAF has been administered by the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority.
