What is the transportation policy for Ironwood Ridge?
A3. Amphitheater’s transportation policy is based on distance. Governing Board policy EEAA states that the district is authorized to provide transportation to students who are residents who live more than 1-3/4 miles from the school (in the case of high school students). The policy also provides for special accommodations for students with disabilities and in situations where the route to school may be “hazardous or difficult.” However, the district’s open enrollment policy stipulates that open enrollment students must provide their own transportation.
