This lovely screen is painted in Chinese and and is titled “Enso,” meaning Zen Circle. On the left is an excerpt from the famous Zen poem, Human Route. Coming empty-handed, Going empty-handed, That is the human route. On the right is the monastery signature from the makers of the screen.
