What is the traditional way to wear Bermuda shorts? Do I have to wear the knee socks with Bermuda shorts?
Of course not! I am not trying to convert the entire US into wearing traditional Bermuda shorts with knee socks either. The general rule in Bermuda is, if you wear a tie with shorts, you should wear the socks. No tie, no socks is OK.However, from July to mid- September, I would only wear the socks for the Queen or my Grandmother. The nice thing about Bermuda shorts is that they are versatile enough to wear to almost all occasions, and are obviously more comfortable to wear than pants, especially with as hot as the summers are these days.
