TAA is a service or series of services available to eligible workers to help them get a new job. To be eligible for TAA, a worker must have been employed in the commercial aircraft division and must have been laid off between March 24, 1999, and February 25, 2002. Services available include: employment counseling, vocational testing, on the job training, classroom training, job search workshops, job search allowance and relocation assistance. You may access information about TAA at www.wa.gov/esd/boeing/taa.htm. Trade Readjustment Allowances (TRA) may be available if you were entitled to, but have exhausted, all your rights to regular unemployment benefits.
