What is the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program?
TAA is a service or series of services available to eligible workers to help them get a new job. To be eligible for TAA, a worker must have been employed in the commercial aircraft division and must have been laid off between March 24, 1999, and February 25, 2002. Services available include: employment counseling, vocational testing, on the job training, classroom training, job search workshops, job search allowance and relocation assistance. Trade Readjustment Allowances (TRA) may be available if you were entitled to, but have exhausted, all your rights to regular unemployment benefits.
