What is the toughest part in setting up a car for Michigan International Speedway?
Dale Jarrett – I think the biggest thing in Michigan is that it almost takes two cars – you want a car that really goes fast down the straightaways, so you need it to work aerodynamically. The other thing is you have really long corners so it makes it a difficult transition going through those long corners because you have to get through them to make that straightaway speed work out. Q – What can the driver do to contribute to that? There are a lot of things and that’s what’s so fun about Michigan. You know as a driver you can really make a big difference. The track is so fast that you can really drive it down in the corners, but that isn’t always the best scenario. You have to know where to back off and what line to run. There’s four or five different lanes you can run in and being able to know when to change those throughout the 400 miles is going to be key for the driver.
