What is the total percentage of the applications that are being reviewed and admitted?
The acceptance rate is something that schools that are very competitive are often happy to release, partly to demonstrate how hard (and not-inclusive in general) they are to get into. The reason we don’t have such numbers to offer is because our admissions process and educational experience here is based upon the adult learning and experiential education models – in other words, you’re competing against yourself. Our pre-enrollment and recruitment counseling can be very thorough, and it’s sometimes somewhere in that process that applicants withdraw themselves because ultimately, if the fit isn’t a good one, then that should be respected. We have a set of admissions criteria that we hold each applicant to, and we also expect that each applicant will have done the necessary research and reflection to know if this is the right place for them.
