What is the topic of Conversation?
We are only prescribing the topic of conversation in the broadest sense. The direction it takes will be up to you. However, we expect that a number of key discussion points may include: • Public perceptions of the Commonwealth today • The Commonwealth’s core strengths and perceived weaknesses • Key global issues the Commonwealth should focus its efforts on • The role the Commonwealth should play in these issues • The value the Commonwealth brings for its members, alongside other international forums • Ways in which the Commonwealth can connect more effectively with young people • The goals the Commonwealth should aim to achieve in the next few decades We have also structured the debate on this website around a number of key issues, to make it easier to navigate. You can see these categories on the right of each page in the ‘Topics of Debate’ box.
