Another guess would be that it is the 7 pointed star Faerie (or Elven Star), which is said to be one of the gateways to “another dimension”. It could also be a version of the 7 pointed star created by Aleister Crowley to symbolize Babalon (the Thelemic Goddess who represents the sphere of Binah (Kabbalah)).
