Today we release “Slice”, the new Five For Fighting album! As every record is a couple years in the making these Tuesday’s are special days for the Ondrasik family. Starting with the blank page I’ll write about a hundred songs, whittle them down to 14, and spend a thousand hours in the studio producing, mixing, and mastering the tracks. It’s fitting that this album stylistically combines the old with the new. It was great working with Gregg Wattenberg again (Superman, 100 Years) and writing the title Track with Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell) was a thrill. Times sure have changed since I started this gig but my intentions haven’t. It’s always my goal to give you the best songs I can while presenting one songwriters slice of life. As this is my 5th swing, I’m grateful to be living a kids dream in this greatest nation on Earth. Thank you for supporting me over the years.
